Secretarial Administrator

The successful applicant will primarily provide support to Library Clerks in the provision of information and research to Members, and will help maintain the Library’s administrative systems.

Duties will include:

  • typing and formatting briefings for Members and Library Notes;
  • maintaining templates for all Library publications;
  • liaising with printers for the publication of Library Notes;
  • distribution of materials to Members;
  • retrieving parliamentary references, books, journals and online materials;
  • diary management;
  • factfinding under supervision;
  • taking minutes;
  • maintaining the Library’s research enquiries database;
  • compiling statistics on Library activities and outputs;
  • maintaining and managing administrative information.
