You may have already heard by now Health Secretary Andrew Lansley had a disastrous trip to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead today. Despite sneaking in a side entrance to avoid protesters and only meeting hand picked staff he still managed to get into a tangle in the corridors before finally being bundled out of the area for his own safety.
It comes to something when the health secretary can’t visit a hospital because his own botched reforms have enraged health workers. If you need an assertive police escort to meet the public it probably says more about you than it does about the public.
