Vacancies: Communications Officer for the International Humanist and Ethical Union

Job Details:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer has arisen within the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU), the world union of Humanist and other non-religious organisations.

Improving IHEU’s communications function, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of IHEU’s communications with the public and its Member Organisations around the world, regarding IHEU’s activities and policy agenda. Based at the British Humanist Association (BHA) offices in London and integrated into the BHA staff team, the successful candidate will need excellent written and oral communication skills, experience of developing and delivering media strategies, the ability to work independently and pro-actively, and be committed to promoting Humanism. Language skills are desirable.

Interview/Start Dates:

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be notified by 5pm on 5 March and I regret that we do not have the resources to inform other applicants that they have not been shortlisted.
