Grand opening of Camden Green Party’s ‘pop up shop’

All London Green Party members, and friends, are invited to the official opening of the Camden Green Party pop-up shop at 129 Fortess Rd, a mere skip and a jump from Tufnell Park Tube station, on Sunday, February 19 at 12.30pm

Jenny Jones has kindly agreed to do the honours – to ceremonially cut the ribbon (and a scrummy cake), and we’ll be providing nibbles and wine.

The paint brushes have been out, we’re collecting furiously on Freecycle/Freegle to furnish it – and by Sunday it should be all ready to
go. (If you’ve got any spare suitable furniture or chairs not too far away please get in contact.)

Everyone is welcome. (And we’re happy to explain to anyone interested how we’ve organised it.)

Also, we’re now looking for volunteers to staff it – if you can spare a semi-regular few hours, we’re hoping to have it regularly open from 11am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, we’d love to hear from you!

Note: We have lots of storage space. If any neighbouring parties would like to use a little of it, perhaps for London Green Newses, please get in contact with me.
