The organisation: An environmental campaign

The role:

To promote campaign messages to the media and the public which can include national and international travel & managing relationships with celebrity supporters.

To package & deliver media plan in order to maximise the effectiveness of the campaigning work and thus increasing the chance of success.

To build relationships with journalists & respond to incoming media enquiries. This includes writing articles, press releases and blogs and managing social networks.

The candidate:

Has a demonstrable understanding of the media particularly within the campaigning sector in order to maximise support from the public and ultimately from decision makers.

Has solid experience of working with a UK-wide campaign or organisation in a public relations or media context including online communications & brand management.

An excellent project manager able to manage and assess communications & media projects.
