We just wanted to wish all our readers a very happy Christmas. If you’re spending time with your family over the festive period – please, forgive them their foibles, try to get through it with minimum of rows.

For those wondering what to do on Christmas Day you might like to consider a few ‘living lightly’ alternatives to the traditional TV watching and turkey gobbling. You could go for a ride on a Boris Bike, an ideal day to learn if you’ve not tried them out before while the streets are empty. Or perhaps just a walk. We’re going to stroll round Hyde Park after our slightly eco-friendly, slightly eco-evil Christmas meal.
Whatever you choose to do, or wherever you have to be, we hope you let the people you love that you love them and give those you have more trouble with the benefit of the doubt, even if just for one day.
