Community Organising, Big Society and Blue Labour have been critical ideas in recent public discourse about faith communities. Reflecting on recent events, this interfaith training workshop in Community Organising includes critical commentary from experts in the field from different religious perspectives about the place of faith communities in London Citizens, Blue Labour and Big Society.

Speakers include Dr Ed Rooksby, Lecturer in Political Sciences at the University of Southampton, theologian Dr Alex Andrews from Nottingham University, Islamic scholar Sheikh Dr Muhammad Al-Hussaini of the Al-Azhar College, and Lisa Ansell, journalist and commentator for the Guardian and New Internationalist, among others…
